Disneyland: Part V: California Adventure Land

By far Lainey's favorite thing in California Adventure Land was the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show. She was gaga over seeing the characters so close. We saw

The Tools

Little Einsteins

Darby, Tigger and Pooh

and of course, the Playhouse Disney gang

Lauren and Lainey REALLY wanted to go see Bug's Life. So we headed over there but first we had to pose and look at the huge waterfall display thingy.

We played in the water at Bug's Life for a few minutes. (And Jackie did some wicked awesome moves there, but I didn't get any pictures.) :(
We then headed into the 4-D movie they have there. What could be more fun?
Spoiler alert . . . anything!

It seemed like such a good idea . . . silly glasses, movie, bugs!

Let's just say that halfway into the movie Lainey was curled in a ball on my lap crying and Lauren was saying "Get me outta here!" We will not be returning to that!

So we headed out for some lunch. But first we stopped at the Rocket Ride (that has a note warning that if its windy they will shut down the ride immediately. That made me feel a bit nervous!


We had pizza.
It was a big hit for Lainey!
While she waited for the rest of us to finish eating, she happily fed the birds (well not all that happily . . . she gets so frustrated that they fly away as she approaches. She's like, "Here birdie birdie, here's some food . . . I SAID HERE'S SOME FOOD!!!! COME BACK!!!!")

She also thought the decor looked like a sandy beach so she hopped a fence to play in the sand.
But promptly got out (and pulled up her pants) when I told her it was off limits.


There is a boat in CA Adventure Land that Lainey and Lauren had a blast playing in.

Afterwards we stopped off for a cupcake and said goodbye to Lauren and Jackie who had to leave early.
