Lainey's Birthday

Lainey had a great birthday! It all started with us making her cupcakes the night before.




and cutting her chain (yes we make chains for all life's events . . . except when it deals with JD . . . no chains for him!)


The next day, her actual birthday, started off like a dream come true when Papa took her to the car wash! She loves the car wash!!! And, this truly was for her since it rained the rest of the day.

That night we went to Chuck E. Cheese with Jackie and Lauren and Trevor.





Lainey rode the car . . . many times!




And climbed in the tubes. (Which was quite amazing for our little girl!)


And she and Lauren rode the horse.


She also played Air Hockey with Daddy

But her favorite of all was the slow and steady ride.


For her birthday Lainey got her first Barbie from Lauren (with more "accessories" than any mom should ever have to put away!)


From Grandpa and Emi she got some Dora gear.



From Grandma B she got a silly book.


From mama and papa (mostly papa) she got a basketball hoop.


And from Chuck E. Cheese she got a viral infection known as hand foot mouth disease. But we didn't know of this gift until about a week later. Chuck E. Cheese is the gift that keeps on giving! But, I am not sure what we were expecting . . . when a rat is the mascot, don't you think we'd be more careful?

Happy third birthday our sweet Lainey!
