Halloween (with some bendaroo infusion)

For Halloween, Lainey was a white queen and Adria was the cutest bumblebee you have ever seen.
We trick-or treated maybe 10 houses and then Lainey had enough. So we went home and handed out candy on the driveway. Lainey says that was her favorite part--handing out the candy. (Good thing she didn't realize that we handed out most of the candy she had just collected!)

Lainey's school had a pumpkin decorating contest.
We bought a little pumpkin and some candy body parts. Daddy and Lainey worked on it together. (He glued while Lainey directed.)
With a little hot-melt glue (okay a lot!) and some creative love, here's what they came up with:
and I'm proud to say that Lainey won "funniest"

A great idea that Lainey had was to use bendaroos for hair.

A Note About Bendaroos: Here's couple of things I made with Bendaroos:
A Zebra and an Orange Horse with Blue Wings.

Pretty Amazing, I know. The great thing about Bendaroos is that they NEVER EVER EVER NEVER go away. No matter how you try to ruin them, they are unruinable. The only way that they leave your home is to say, "Yes, using tons of Bendaroos for your pumpkin hair is a GREAT idea! Use as many as you would like!" or you can slowly and deliberately throw one or two out at a time (so your kids don't see a whole pile of them in the trash and question your motives and then you have to say something like, "Oh, how did those get in there? Silly Mommy!" as you begrudgingly dig them out of the trash.)
