A Little About Adgey

Adria's been a babbler for as long as she could utter a babble. She started making some sense in the fall . . .

But Adria's first substantial words were uttered over Thanksgiving break. I was pleased as pie when she said "poo-poo" but also a little disturbed that she would utter that of all things as a first real word. However, on that same day she also said "book." I think this is an obvious sign that she's growing up in a well-rounded home.

Since then she has picked up many-a-word.

Back in September, Adria learned to climb on chairs . . . and then onto tables.

She also learned its not so fun when you get stuck (especially when mom has to take pictures before helping you out of your predicament).
Happily for mom and dad she forgot about being able to to this . . . until recently. She is ALWAYS climbing on the chairs and table. When her whole body isn't on the table, she makes sure that at least part of it is . . .
In the past couple of months Adria has learned her facial features. She especially likes her hair and she really likes to show it off and rub it when he has ranch dressing/applesauce/yogurt/etc. on her hands.

Adria has always wanted to be a big girl and now insists that she feed herself.
I guess using a spoon is better than how she used to feed herself.

She loves her "B"

She loves her sister, "Lay-Nay"

She loves her "BaBa"

She LOVES her boots

And we love her.
